Paula Sweeney, Texas Trial Legend

Slack Davis Sanger attorney Paula Sweeney will be one of five local trial lawyers recognized by the Dallas Bar Association at its Texas Trial Legends Program this April. The event, to be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at the Belo Mansion, will include a panel presentation featuring Ms. Sweeney, along with Randy Johnston, Carmen Mitchell and Dick Sayles. The late John Howie will be honored posthumously with a special recognition presented by Ms. Sweeney and 2010 Trial Lawyer Legend award recipient Jim Cowles. The featured panel will be moderated by Judge Royal Furgeson. The program will be conducted in a “war story” format, with panelists describing personal trial experiences.
