Aviation and Personal Injury Law Firm Slack Davis Sanger LLP, Celebrates 20 Years of Service
Slack Davis Sanger, a Texas-based litigation firm with offices in Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth, and a national practice handling serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, is celebrating its 20-year anniversary.
For two decades, Slack Davis Sanger has fought and won legal battles on behalf of the victims of airplane and helicopter crashes; catastrophic auto and truck wrecks; electrical, construction site and oil field accidents; harmful prescription or over-the-counter drugs; and defective medical devices and other dangerous products. The firm has built a reputation for helping ordinary citizens go up against wealthy and powerful adversaries, including industry giants, such as commercial airlines, aircraft manufacturers, automobile manufacturers, tire companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and insurance companies.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating our 20th year, and we’re especially proud of our experienced legal team and expanded areas of practice,” said Michael Slack, Founding Partner of Slack Davis Sanger. “Since our inception in Austin in 1993, our firm has grown to three offices. We plan to continue our growth and deliver the highest quality service to our clients in order to maintain our winning track record.”
In the past year alone, Slack Davis Sanger attorneys were repeatedly recognized for their legal work. Three of their winning verdicts were selected for Texas Lawyer’s list of “Top Texas Verdicts”; Michael Slack was named to the Texas Super Lawyers “Top 100” list; and Paula Sweeney received the “Trial Lawyer of the Year” award from the Dallas Bar Association.
These professional accolades are complemented by the firm’s commitment to the community. Some of Slack Davis Sanger’ past non-profit partners include The Long Center for the Performing Arts, the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Ronald McDonald House. This year, the firm will help the Oak Hill Youth Sports Association, a non-profit organization for which Slack Davis Sanger founding partner Mike Davis has volunteered for more than 18 years. The firm will provide scholarships for kids who want to play baseball, but can’t afford the fees and equipment.
“Slack Davis Sanger has always been active in the community. Our work has been especially meaningful in recent years, as non-profits balance increased need with decreased funding,” Mike Davis said.
In honor of the 20th anniversary, the firm is planning celebratory events in Austin and Dallas this fall for lawyers and legal professionals from Texas’ legal community.
